One State Under Gawd

One State Under Gawd “Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible.”

first off, when the hell did that crap start? i don’t remember that from school. boy, i’m sure the day that was originally passed into law was a Big Event.

but seriously, ya’ll’re kidding, right?

ya’ll actually voted for adding “one state under God” to this? i mean, ya’ll do realize ya’ll’re also “one state under the atmosphere”, “one state surrounded by other states except for parts of the southern border”, and “one state apparently driven while under the influence”, right?

this was absolutely, fundamentally, completely and totally freakin’ necessary to your legislature’s continued existence in the Great Texas Republic?

more so than, say, voting on memorializing all the lost jellyfish to shipping traffic in Corpus Christi Bay? or commemorating cicadas lost to drive-by smashings by people with Oklahoma license plates? or incarcerating wild animals who pee on bluebonnets?

eesh.

  1. Hey, why don’t “y’all” bite me. Don’t “y’all” have enough idiotic legislation going on in “ya’lls” own State?

Go pick on somebody “y’alls” own size and leave our pathetic excuse for government alone.

After all “Under God, the people rule”.
